If this still doesn’t work, try using the “Run as” command. After this, download the latest Trusteer Rapport and try installing it. If this doesn’t work, repeat the same steps and uncheck “/SAFEBOOT” then click “OK.” Restart your computer in normal mode. In Safe Mode, install the program again and see if it works. In the System Configuration Utility window, go to “BOOT.INI” tab then check “/SAFEBOOT” and then click “OK.” Restart the computer. Press Windows key + R then in the Run dialog, type without quotes “msconfig” then hit Enter. If this doesn’t work, try installing the program in Safe Mode.

To fix the problem, simply restart your computer and try installing the program again. You normally get that message when you install or uninstall a program that requires your computer to be restarted and then you installed a new program without restarting the computer first. It seems there is a pending system restart from a program you probably installed or uninstalled previously.
